Fished Lewisville this morning with Dan and James. Started at 9:00 AM because of the cold. Fished until 1:30 PM.
Wasn't sure what to expect with the after front, cold conditions. The big fish were still biting. We caught over 50, Kept 30 over 12". Wind was kind of brisk until around noon and then it got up pretty good.
Most of the brush piles had fish that would bite, One pile was loaded with big catfish, hardly any crappie. You should see 2'-3' Catfish on the livescope. Broke on of my favorite rods on one about 18" long.
You can usually tell the catfish on the livescope by the way they swim.
Proves any day you can go could be a good day. Only saw two other boats today and they were ski boats.
