Anyone ever fish the buffalo bayou in Katy? We saw it driving through from a family exploring trip and looked accessible and a potential area for fishing. Thanks!!!
Let us know what you come up with , never tried it but have always thought about it. My wife’s cousin catches some nice crappie but inside Houston on the bayou
Got a 20” alligator gar and maybe a silver drum? Not sure what it was. The far I got on a square bill and it hit hard but the “drum” got on a night crawler and I barely noticed it but felt fierce on a light rod lol.
All in all it was a fun day but not many bites at all. May have just been a bum day. Should have taken beer 🍺
Do a search on here. Used to be a kid with a GoPro always making videos of fishing Buffalo Bayou above Houston. He’d regularly catch an assortment including bass. Seem like I recall even a grinnel or two.
Cool! The wife was right...shhhh don't tell her LOL
