Cardiff 300a is a great reel as well for what you are looking to do. Cheers.

Might check this out in the classified’s: https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/13328166/curado-300e#Post13328166 Not for huge baits but a good low profile reel for the sizes you mention.

One of my buddies uses the super duty, heard good things about it.

Agreed. The Curado 200 is a good reel but the pinion gear is not designed to withstand the constant pressure of mashing down the thumb bar with a 2-6 oz lure on the end of your line. thumb

I have a bunch of them and use them all the time and have not had a single issue at all with any of them.

I have then in the regular size and the wide spool version. I use the wide spool for large baits and also on my C-rigs because they hold a ton of line and they are very comfortable to fish with because of the standard size of them. I like the wide spool way better than going to a 300 size reel. I used the 300 size in the past but quit using them in favor of the Super Duty wide spool. It also comes with a large cranking handle which I really like.
