Same here...wife, son, and DIL are all educators.
I am amazed every year at the interesting and diverse names coming through.
DILaw had a female student with the name Abcde = AB-suh-Dee

The second one is LaDasha. I have seen it spelled before.

a few year back my wife had a student named Jared... but he insisted it was pronounced jay-rod.
Just want to make folks smile, and spit coffee on their keyboard.

My wife is a DISD teacher. She had a student named Female....pronounced “Fa-ma-lay” like tamale. My niece is a teacher who had a student named Julian... Except it was spelled JewLeon.

There was a period when the name Nevaeh showed up a lot (Heaven spelled backwards), in some cases it was spelled wrong,

A friend used to work for SS evaluating claims for disability and told this as truth. He said a lady came in with a name pronounced fe-Ma-le. He asked her where the name originated, and she said it was already on her birth certificate when she was born.
Another person had a medical history of plops - polyps, and another had previous cancer of the Virginia.
Yet another came in with a beautiful jacket she had self-embroidered, and he complimented her on it. When she got up to leave he noticed she had embroidered on the back "The Lone Woof".
I hate to relate these since I'm an ole Okie, but these originated from the Durant office where he worked.
I went to college with a girl named Edith Frick. She married a guy named Francis Funk. So she became Edith Frick Funk.

I used to game with Bran Ruffin and worked with Rusty Phillips. I had a customer who's given name was (and I sh*t you not) Swivel Seat.

A kid that went to the school my wife taught at was named Evan. Not bad...last name was Rude. In my daughters class there was a Holly Berry.

had a guy work for me in IT back in the day. Super smart guy. The family last name was Wich (pronounced WICK) they named thier kid Sam.... i kid you not

Went to elementary school with a kid named Evan Weiner. His dad’s name was Harold and went by Harry.
