Just saw that. Hope their little fairy wands can handle all those big fish lakes.
I hate photobucket.

MLF be playin' dirty... they picked 3 of the same lakes the Elite series is going to, and MLF is going there before the Elite series on all of them (Eufala, St. Lawrence, Champlain). Maybe Fork too, since Texas Fest hasn't been announced yet.
When Boyd talked about competing with B.A.S.S. recently, looks like part of that strategy is, "go to places first so that not as many people will watch when the Elite series goes there."

They hear all the comments about Dinks and even some of the anglers have mentioned how repetitive and boring it is to watch. Looks like they are actively trying to prevent that. Which feeds right into all the 5 fish guys saying that Big fish is what draws attention.

On the big fish factories like Fork, it definitely will be interesting to see the strategy if some folks try to catch fewer numbers of big ones, or bigger numbers of small ones. Didn't exactly have that option at Table Rock, for instance.

Just fishing will lead to lots of quality I don't know....so much is weather dependant then. It more than likely will be a slugfest but there is a chance they shut down and it becomes a small fish deal.

Scheduling Fork at the prespawn leading into the spawn time of year. That could get interesting. Those guys that believe that locals should give way when the pro's come to play will be out of their minds. Not only will it be locals but many others in the state making the trek. At least it will be a tournament that a 9lber doesn't break your heart because it's only 23". I think Fork is a good lake for the MLF model. Hopefully everyone plays nice.

@ me I noticed that too. I also noticed that MLF scheduled 3 events on top of Elite events.
