Guys with the cold front coming in I was wondering if the cats are shallow yet?

Earlier this year in the month of April, May & June I was very successful catching some good blue cats at “West Tawakoni” & “West of Lavon”. Then in the summer months the fish stop biting

I planning to go this coming Saturday and was wondering if I should hit Tawakoni OR Lavon ?

Anyone lately fishing in shallow please let me know.

Thanks all

I would personally hit Lavon main lake point in 10ft of water. The more wind blown the better. It is closer to me so that is why I would choose it. If Twok is closer, go for it.

Points that extend in to the main lake, not in a cove. The areas in blue is where I would fish.

Good map here... but this place can get very packed this time of year with white bass fishermen. Get there early

I honestly don't fish here that often, but it was a great location to use as an example for a main lake point. I prefer the other side of the lake.
