With the rain and recent cold weather, I havent been out in two weeks. Anyone have updates on Water Temps in DFW? Mainly Lewisville and Grapevine?

I went out on LL Saturday morning, temp was around 62 at that time, I'm sure it's colder now.

I was out first of last week at Joe Pool and it was 65. Gotta be below that at this point.

Fished last night. It was 62.3-63.0. Those fish were much warmer than I was.

Grapevine was in the 60s Sunday morning. I think low to mid 60s, if I remember correctly

Not to hijack this thread but I was thinking of fishing Friday (since i'm off), I'm in central Texas. Weather says it will be in the mid/high 30s Thursday night/Friday morning, will get to a high of low 60s around 4 pm. Is it worth going?

You better recheck the forecast, Waco could see 28.

Is it worth going? Lmfao. When the ramp is covered in an inch of solid ice, I'll think about staying home.

Otherwise, I'm fishing. December and January are my favorite months to fish.

Edit: back when I had my little bassbuster 2 man boat, I did slide it down a frozen ramp one morning to fish. Had the lake to myself and caught a bunch that day. Ice was melted by late afternoon when I got back so no problem loading up.
