My transducer cable has gotten a little loose on top of the transducer and I want to put some black silicon or some epoxy on the connection to keep it from getting pulled out any further. Iām having trouble finding any black or even clear plastic epoxy. Thought I would ask for suggestions here to see if anybody has done something similar.

Yep. Just mix up the two part epoxy and glob it on. As long as it is working right now; it will secure it. Give it 48 hours to fully dry; because it will be thick.

if you run the wire under the mount bolt, put something in the holes to hold the wire in it's user position to take the stress of bending the wire later after the epoxy dries.

When you mix the epoxy let it set for 5-10 minutes before applying. As it starts react and set it will begin to thicken. Waiting will make it easier to work and not run everywhere.

That's a good idea. I've used 5 minute epoxy several times before and its always so runny. I'll give it a minute or two to set before I apply it. Thanks for the input everybody!
