I just installed a Humminbird Helix 12 which comes with Basemap and I want to upgrade to a more detailed map. Which one do you guys prefer?

Some are more accurate with one over the other, but I still use my Lakemaster 90% of the time. I like the options it gives me for highlights, water level offsets, etc with my HB's

The lakemaster is designed for use with birds. It gives you more customization options vs the navionics. Both are good though but my pic on mine is lakemaster

I use both. There are a few lakes that one is a little more accurate than the other, but as a whole they are both good. The advantage to the lakemaster is the shading options and a few other advanced features that navionics does not have. If you do much offshore fishing, lakemaster is a big help in targeting certain depth ranges.

I have the Lakemaster card and it totally depends on the lake. the Lakemaster map of Joe Pool is only accurate about where the creeks are, There are many humps and pits that are not on the Lakemaster map.. or the Humminbird base map either. I don't have much experience on the other lakes around the area. My work around is to use the Navionics map online and try and to find the coordinates on Google maps to get me in the ball park.

I have lakemaster chips and navionic app on my tablet. The app lets me adjust water levels and shade different depths. Overall I prefer lakemaster and has been more accurate on most of the lakes I fish.
