They are not supposed to be cleaned. Like the corner stone in a building, the refrigerator documents the history of the break room.

the one in our main break room is like that. I stay far far away.

We have 5 for our area. 3 of them would knock a buzzard off a gut wagon while the other 2 we keep a good handle on. Once a year, they're supposed to be deep cleaned. That would just a few week ago but ours were skipped over for some reason

Just told my guys when I return Monday morning, the fridge better be cleaned out. If not, everything inside goes in the trash.

Ours gets cleaned out every Friday by our Office Manager. If something does not have a name and date on it, it gets thrown in the trash without question! If she notices that you have something every week that needs to be saved, she drops it on your desk and gives you a warning.

Her policing is welcomed by most. We have 70 people and only 2 refrigerators. One of them is 90% full of free drinks, this leaves two freezers and 1 refrigerator for 70 people.... they fill up fast!

Its actually quite funny... a few folks will hover in the break room and scavenge nice Tupperware out of the trash. LOL

Yep, I brought my own mini fridge.

Ours got cleaned every friday. The receptionist would send a email on wed. and another on friday that everything would get thrown out if you did not speak up. Monday morning the fridge would be clean.

Janitor service cleans ours every Friday after hours...

Clean ours out weekly. But being a healthcare facility we're subject to state and federal inspections. People know their stuff can get thrown away so keep it fresh and updated.
