Went on my annual guided trip with an old working buddy and Weldon Kirk of Fish Tales Guide Service on Somerville yesterday. We landed over 80 fish and kep 50 for the freezer. All fish were caught on CJ's punch bait. Fish averaged about 1-1/2 pounds but gave up four gallons of fillets.

Fishing is good any day with Weldon Kirk of Fish Tales Guide Service, the most consistent catfish guide I know of.

That is so true. We have fished with Weldon for about 15 trips now and one trip wasn't a limit day.

I asked Weldon this morning what his fish count was. For 2019, his boat has accounted for 4500 plus fish. Since 2008 his boat has accounted for 65,500 plus fish. That is consistent!
