I wore a suit for 20 years .... Washed/dried//ironed my shirts every Saturday. Glad those days are behind me. Never pay someone to do something you can do yourself ...... or something like that.

For those who might not know what else a dry cleaner can do, I had a broken zipper replaced on a nice jacket.
So there's that.

Years back I googled best no iron shirt. Turns out the Wall Street Journal gave this award to the Travelers line of shirt at Jos A Banks. It you go to their website you will find a clearance page. 3 times a year before their annual stockholders meeting they have a big sale. These $100 shirts sale for $19.95. I have a closet full of them

I’ve not spent a dime to dry clean a shirt in many years. These literally come out of the dryer and onto a hanger and look great

Jos A Bank has a buy one, get eleventy free sale at least once a year. I don’t need nine suits, so I would get two and then like five shirts and three ties. Really can’t beat it.

I know. My wife has done our laundry for 45 years. When I was working I did not feel the need to burden my wife with cleaning and pressing 5 shirts per week. I was in a position to not be looking like I slept in my clothes at work.

In 35 years of attending Ivy League schools, Wharton School of Business, and being made the youngest partner ever at KKR & Co on Wall St, I’ve never bought ANY clothes off the rack.

I get all of my bespoke clothes from Enzo’s of Bayonne, New Jersey

About $60 a month at our house. Shirts, pants, jeans, polos, some of my wife's clothes all go to the cleaners.

When I took over the auditing dept at a local airline, the first thing I did was get rid of the shirts and ties. Put everyone in
polo type shirts with nice logo on the front. They all got 4 and a nice zipper jacket. They loved it. No more dry cleaning/ironing.
Even the VIPs went to the same thing... hooked

I need to have my Birthday Suit pressed to get all the wrinkles out. Any recommendations?

I use to work with a dude that even took his polo shirts there. He swore his clothes lasted longer. I said maybe but you could have bought a lot of new ones for what you paid. Unless you take all your clothes there you still have to do laundry. The last time I took a suit to the dry cleaners it was there for 2 weeks because the ex kept forgetting to pick it up.
