$4.20 for one shirt is stupid expensive. Glad i don't have to dress up daily.

Here is another rub for the dry cleaner operation. I wore dress shirts to work for 20 years. I would have them regular cleaned and pressed for $0.99 each. I would tell them no starch, but that doesn't matter. In the machine they wash them in, there is residual starch from all of the other shirts they wash in there that had starch in them. So your shirts each time were subjected to a little starch and after a few weeks they could stand in the corner by themselves without a hanger. Guess the only way to really get the starch out? Yes, dry cleaning at $3.80 a shirt. It is a good racket to be in.

My woman washes and irons my shirts between vacuuming and doing dishes.

I want ROOM SERVICE! I want the club sandwich, I want the cold Mexican beer! I want my shirts laundered... like they do... at the Imperial Hotel... in Tokyo.

Same here. Have never taken a shirt to the dry cleaners in my 74 years. All you have to do is iron the part that you see when wearing a sport coat. Just remember to not take your coat off, though! When in doubt, wear a golf shirt.

20 years in sales and this is something I know a little something about

Years back I googled best no iron shirt. Turns out the Wall Street Journal gave this award to the Travelers line of shirt at Jos A Banks. It you go to their website you will find a clearance page. 3 times a year before their annual stockholders meeting they have a big sale. These $100 shirts sale for $19.95. I have a closet full of them

I’ve not spent a dime to dry clean a shirt in many years. These literally come out of the dryer and onto a hanger and look great

Between the wife and I our dry cleaning bill is over $50 a week. I really need to start dressing a little more casual at work.
