Is there any difference it deck layouts from say an 05 zx225 (20ft) to todays fx20 or zx225 (20ft) boats as far as length or width difference on the front deck only?
The reason i ask is i would like a little more room up front especially from stepping on 7ft+ rods beside my front seat and wonder if i just need to go to a 21ft boat or is the 20 footers now days have more room.

the 2020 FXR series is bigger than previous FX and ZX models. If you want to spend the extra few thousand, just step up to the 21' class.
