Because they cows they use for their steaks more than likely died of natural causes! I'm not 100% sure, but I think a portion of the last one I ate there had fossilized.

But Falcon rocks. And I love mother Forker! And Sam Rayburn.

Not to hijack, but how deep or what pattern are the bass in Falcon following generally in November? Are they generally hanging out in upper creek channels with bait? Or is it more of a deeper, winter type bite? I live 5 hours away and for some reason haven’t ever been there.

El Paraiso Steakhouse, Zapata, TX.....you have such variation on the menu. One night CFS w/ cheese. Next night CFS w/ gravy. Third night CFS w/ cheese & gravy....then, you may wanna work your way home and buy new underwear cuz your others will need to be thrown away.

Seriously, that's my fav restaurant in town.

I'm not for sure how the fishing is...….

Rayburn would get my vote. Look up Clarke Rheem and book a trip with him. Rayburn has been rated as one of the best bass lakes in the country for a reason. Fork would be my next vote if you come during prespawn.
By the way, I grew up in Ohio...MOST decent lakes in Texas will give you a chance at 5lb fish...but don't set expectations that you'll break 10lbs...although they're common here, they don't live under every log and stump.

Two years!? Barring some major flood event Ivie is likely to be a river again in two years. Someone is going to use all that water.

roflmao VERY TRUE!! Berkley needs to hang it up or BC needs to find a new sponsor for their October derby. Cutting up bearded pigs to make skirts for swims, chatters & spinners, because Berkley doesn't even make skirts, is ridiculous!

Keith Combs might still guide on Falcon if your pockets are deep enough, it's his off season for the elite.
