In y'alls experience, which lake chip has more detail / options and accuracy; Navionics or Lakemaster? It would be used in a HB Helix Mega Gen3.

I've found Navionics to be hit or miss in terms of the accuracy of the contours. Lake Granger isn't a big lake but has boats all over it especially on a good weekend and Navionics mapping for this lake is horrible. Not even close! On a couple other lakes it seems to be pretty close. I think Navionics is cheaper.

You get out of it what you put into it!

Think I am going with the Lakemaster. I am researching to see which one. Lakemaster Plus, Lakemaster V5, etc...

What Cam says, he's out there everyday, and fishes 3-4 lakes with clients. He would know.

i found a post about this very topic on the TFF and most were recommending Navionics. But that was a post from 2013 and I was wondering if the newer versions of Lakemaster have improved. Thank y'all for your input!

I had a 2013 version of Navionics for my Lowrance units but since I've just put two Humminbird Helix on my boat, I may give Lakemaster a try.
