Dad and I have had a hectic couple months between my work schedule, his Doctor Appointments, our Boat issues, etc.

We were beginning to wonder if we would remember how to fish it has been so long since we have been on the water.

It came right back to us just like riding a bike. fish

We managed a Double Limit yesterday.
ACC 8 Footer (Dad) and 12 Footer (Me).
Power Pro Super Slick 20 pound with Vanish Gold Leader in 8 pound.
Feather Jigs by Zach Church (Fearless Jigs) and Pepop jigs.
Timber and Concrete
14-16 Feet was the "STRIKE" zone no matter the water depth.
They wanted it Dead Still yesterday.

Pics of our catch, one with me, one with Dad, one with the Live well busting at the seams, one of the 100 gorgeous Fillets of which I am about to eat food, one of my New Personalized License Plate- THUMP25 it is on my Dodge Ram clap, and a buddy of mine sent me an aerial Picture of that cell the other night that produced that Tornado in Dallas after it moved East of Dallas OMG.

Thought I would share.

Feels Good to be Back.

He sure is...great that you two still fish together. I'd give anything for one more fishing trip with dad. He may have been an ornery old cuss, but a hell of a fisherman.

Great day of fishing! Thanks for sharing the picture of the tornadic supercell. That’s an awesome photograph. 🌪

The cell that produced the tornado near Carthage drifted over our house. My wife and I were in our “safe” spot in the house, watching the storm approach on radar on my cell phone. As it passed over, my wife’s half full plastic water bottle was sitting on the counter and it started crackling due to the pressure drop. Too close for comfort. Thankfully we had no damage.
