I'm planning on making my first trip to Texas for some bass fishing in mid-November. Plan is to hook up with a guide to fish Sat / Sun. I'm looking hard at Falcon Lake, unless someone here would point me in a different direction. Definitely more concerned with quality over quantity, however coming form Ohio, anything 5 pounds or better is quality in my book. Any suggestions / info would be greatly appreciated!!!

From what Ive seen from guides pics at Falcon......I'd go to Fork. Doesn't seem like they are catching the numbers of 10+ lbs fish as they were a few years back.

Hands down Falcon. Then make the jump over to Sugar. Don't even get me started about Fork even though it is still my home lake.

I like Falcon, better weather and fishing.

Sure Fork has more pics of big fish, it also has 300% more people trying to catch them or more than Falcon.

Falcon my friend. Make sure you have all those required boating safety items and fish license on you, you will more likely than not be checked.

I am a big fan of mother Falcon.

We go at least once a year for 3-4 days fishing from our Kayaks and we always end up with a few big ones.

Got my PB 9.7, in Feb there and my fishing partner got his PB 11.5 there the previous trip. Did not post pics of those does not mean they were not caught smile

Fork, IMO, sucks. For me at least. I have only been twice but it was nothing but dinks and TONS of boats.

Judging by Fork big bass results it might take you 2800 angler days to catch one big fish! How longs your trip?

Give John Adami a call down at Falcon. You will have a good time. He also does trips to Sugar Lake as well.
Broken Braid Guide Service. If you go to the steakhouse in town do not eat the steak.
