By luck, accident, caught a 7 lb blue yesterday. Not what you guys call a big boy, but made me happy. 😃

That’s some seriously good eating! My wife and I can’t wait to land one that large. Hopefully someday soon!!!

Yeah, some of this one is going in the deep fryer this evening. Made enough for several meals for the two of us. I already have lot of fish in the freezer, but sure is good right out of the water. 🍽

I catch channell cats mainly. My big of the year is a 6 lb. Last year a 13 was caught and two years ago the big fish was an 8. Fishing to me is not about big fish but more about the outdoirs and the fry. Ok i see all those guys paying guides big bucks to catch bass on lakes. If i had the money i might do that but for budget and other readons catfish is king.

We been on a serious run of dinks but finally starting to see some decent fish. Here are a couple of slots from our last few trips. We got the teener a couple of trips back and the 20 this morning. Nothing giant but beats the heck out of dinkville! Gizzards are finally grouped up good so it’s go time!
