Fished Lewisville this morning with my good buddy Littlefeather and my son Jaxon. We got bait in 5 ft easy. We found fish stacked up on the south end of the old lake. We marked 10 acres of solid gizzard shad. We also marked a handful of big fish and tons of eater cats but zero wind and we couldn’t get em going. We moved up the lake and marked fish on humps, in the channel, and we found em stacked on a ledge and point but only managed 2 dinks. Went to look for some feeding fish and found more fish laying on the bottom. Wind started to pick up so we went back to where we saw em thick on the point. We drifted through them and caught more dinks. Pretty poor morning of fishing but we finished with a double and a triple dink which was fun.

Fun trip non the less! Just home from the 3 hour roadie! Thanks Bud!

Thanks amigos! Fishing with a hell raising 3.5 yr old boy ain’t easy. Jaxon sniffed out the honey buns early and we spent the first 2 hrs trying to keep the little wildling wrangled up. It’s a ton of work fishing with that boy but it sure is fun to watch him reel em in! It’s been a fun summer of fishing with the family but it’s almost time to put the women and children to bed and go lookin for a good fight!

Ahh..My old stomping grounds!!...LOL!!!!...Too bad I didn't have a YouTube channel back then LOL or maybe that's a good thing haha!!!....I think Jaxson is going to be a catfishing prodigy or just a fishing Prodigy in general lol ...
