Heading to RC at the end of the week. Have heard the white bass have been slow but wondering if this cooler weather has moved them to any type of fall patterns. Any feedback would be appreciated and we will be down Thursday and Friday. Fishing in blue and white fish master. If you see us give a wave.

Check out the Catfishing Section for the action on RC. Whites & Hybrids have gone into their Fall disappearance act and if the past 3 or 4 years is any indication, the consistent action will be back on in April. Adam ran a White Bass trip on Monday and after two hours gave up and did the Catfish. He had 10 Whites and 1 Hybrid. A couple of the other Guides have had the same type trip and all the others are Catfishing. Wish I had better news and maybe it will pick up this week, but it's tougher than nails the past month. Good Luck!

Thanks,
Royce & Adam Simmons

Thank you Royce and looks like good ole blues may be on the menu. Not going to be picky just enjoying the beautiful weather and great 45k acres of seclusion for the most part. Thanks for the update and hope to see y’all out there this week. Have a good one.

White bass and hybrids have been pretty active in the mornings from 8 to 9:30 in the main lake in 10 to 17 feet of water. When they are in the mood, they are very aggressive on chartreuse/white jigs bounced off the bottom. Early afternoon around 2 they have been pretty good. No topwater that I have seen myself, although there is a large amount of bait around the lake and some schoolies are busting teh surface only to disappear seconds later.

I have been working the 309 Flats first thing after sunrise. Seems like they are pushing up there especially on a north wind. After that, I start targeting main lake points that have a shallow area the right depth. The sandbass still seem to want to chase and run, so it takes a bit more work to stay on them.
