OP TXMulti-Species Extreme Angler T Joined: Nov 2017 Posts: 1,478 Irving, TX	Got out last Sunday with two buddies and caught a decent amount of fish! The fish had excellent proportions, with big shoulders and full bellies. Most were in the low teens, with our biggest of the day being 14lb 8oz. Really enjoyed fishing so close to the house, gonna have to do that more often! This nice sized Black Bullhead started off the day for us Even the Bullheads get a good release! First Carp of the day Juan got his first Carp in quite some time! Trying to get him addicted at least half as much as I am Chris with the biggest of the day! 14 and a half pounds The release has always been one of my favorite parts of fishing 'nother one for me. Excuse my lack of an expression in many of the pics, I was running on ~4hrs of sleep! Juan with a little scrapper! Chris amused at the new trick I taught him - he was trying to get a photo with the dorsal fin up. The secret: give the fish a gentle shake! Typically works a charm Juan with a double... Just not with two fish! Never seen someone so happy with a turtle lol Shortly after another double! Juan's fish had a bit of a tumor, but otherwise seemed healthy. Another for Chris! Perfect example of the body type I mentioned earlier. Big belly and big shoulders! There might just be some bigguns here! Capture and release of my biggest for the day - 12lbs 8oz Chris with another good fish! Doubled up! Love these fish! 'lil scrapper for me! Another gorgeous little Carp! Last one of the day for me. Chris with his last of the day. Got an interesting pic... lol Another good sized Black Bullhead to round out the day for us! Gonna have to return once it gets colder and then maybe once again before the spawn to get a better sample of the stock of fish here. Catch and release.
