Just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing issues with them. I have 4 of them and two are very smooth and work great. One of the other two is very noisy and the other one quit on me today. The pawl quit rotating on me today. I will take them in this weekend for repairs. Very disappointed because both of these reels are fairly new and have had very little use. I don't think I will be getting any more of these reels in the future. I have better luck with Diawa and Lews reels. Now I do have several E series reels from Shimano that I will never part with. I just wish shimano still made quality reels like the B and E series reels they used to make. The ones made in Japan were good....better quality control there I guess.

I have 5 or 6 of them. I had the thumb button break on one of mine and it was cheap plastic but they fixed it for free. Rest have performed flawlessly. They are simple to set the breaks, but don't have as fine tuned adjustments as a lot of reels. Moved more to Lew's, but the K's have worked fine. When I don't catch fish, it's not their fault that's for sure. Course I just fish 6-8 times a month so not putting much pressure on them either.

Those K's have issues for sure. I'll give you $200 for all 4 and have them redone. I like em but I know they have issues.

Joel, I will have to PASS on your LOW BALL OFFER. Like I said, two of them are fine and I will have the other two repaired. I will sell you the two defective ones for $300 shipped.

I haven't had any issues with my Curado Ks but I have had issues with a couple Citicas.

Just messing with you Joel. I would never sell a defective reel to anyone. Two of my Curado K's are perfect. Hopefully I can get the other two working just as well. Maybe they were made on either a Monday or Friday. LOL
