ya'll hurting my heart with the Panchos hate....I have an emotional attachment to the one in East Dallas/Mesquite because my dad took me there all the time when I was a child. I still go occasionally and my heart must make the food taste good because I still eat too much, and too many sopapillas!

I will say the Chili’s here in Nac is better than the Dickie’s here. Best I can do.

Chili's used to be decent. I could go on lunch, get a burger, beer and tip for like $13.
Their cajun chicken sandwich back in the day was pretty good too.

Every time my brother comes down from Georgia first place he wants to go is Pancho's in Mesquite. I have to admit the last time I went the food wasn't too bad especially the stew and taco's.
I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.
Conscience never acquits, it either accuses or excuses.

The buffalo chicken sandwich is great, so are the
chips and salsa
burgers good
southwest rolls
3 different kinds of wings/chicken strips
coffee good
good fajitas
Cajun chicken pasta
and the Molten Lava Cake/ice cream is great!
Chili's rocks for a modest chain restaurant.

Just depends how hungry you are at the time, I recall Allsups being the best restaurant I had ever ate at one night about 1:00 am. It can save your life! It has more than once!!!!!!

OK, Whataburger is a hit or miss deal. Most suck now days.
Kolaches suck. And don't even talk about the cookie cutter stuff they peddle at the Czech Stop in West - At best, it's just ok.
Blue Bell Ice Cream - They killed three people. HEB 1905 vanilla kicks Blue Bells [censored].
The three most overrated things in this great state of Texas are above.

I think that many of these restaurants have both good/bad. It depends on location, Managers and cooks. It is no difference in service at Walmart or Home Depot.
We don't all have the same taste. I prefer more salt on my food but I don't complain when it is served with less like the majority prefer.
I am surprised that there are so many that are terrible but you are unwilling to say what you consider great Restaurants. I think many are unwilling to have others complain about what you consider as "Best Restaurants".
