Same here. I re-line all of my reels in preparation for war. I set the hook on every bite like they are 100 lbs. LOL

Blue maybe 40#
Channel pushing 15# but that was about 35 years back. Back then We seldom weighed them . We skinned ,steaked and fried them.
Still prefer steaks to filets

She caught the tilapia with tiny mosquito fish she netted and put on a tiny hook and fished all day until the big channel cat bit. This blue catfish was a team effort. I caught the one pound tilapia we used as live bait in a cast net. My son did all the fish fighting. I put the net under it. My scale tops out at 30# and the fish bottomed out the scale. Estimated it at 35#. Can’t remember catching a flathead on the rod and reel. Did get it on a woolly bugger streamer using my 7/8 weight cabelas CGR.

Nice pics karstopo! Very nice cats.
My biggest blue was 51lb. Got him on Twok fishing with the great Captain Littlejohn
Channel cat 12 lbs. Caught him on a nightcrawler in Lake Mead Nv.
Biggest Flathead was around 40. I did not get him in the yak (by choice lol) caught him on Lake Worth on a squarebill crankbait. He pulled me around for a good hour. Thought for sure I had a 15lb bass for the first minute or so.
Caught a black bullhead in a pond near my house that had to be pushing 2lbs. Thats pretty huge for those guys I am told.

WOW!!!!!! Awesome Pics. It is amazing on the different methods we use all for the same result. Keep them coming. It has been a few years since I have caught anything over 25 lbs. But i am always trying. I try to use the big bait big fish theory.
