Wanted to start off saying "Thanks" to those who helped me with some maps as to running Wright Patman. Def helped me get around the lake during practice and felt safe running even during the fog Sat morning.

I started off the morning quite cold(38°!) But the water temps were 65° so felt they should be hitting. Cranked rocks(along the long road at the bridge in big creek) to start and nothing but picked up a whopper plopper and Bam a 5lber!! I then moved to the shallow cover I was primarily fishing and went around an hour flipping and nothing. Picked up a chatterbait and caught 2 solid keepers pretty quick so that settled me down and I went back to flipping. Caught keepers 4 and 5 and was sitting at 15lbs or so. Kept at it and then the day just got magical and ended up culling several times adding a 3, 15oz, 4 and a 6lber which pushed me to 21.13lbs with that 5 and a 6.07!! I won our local derby running away(2d had 13lbs, 3d had 10.5). I just can't believe how the flipping pattern held up on that shallow cover even as the lake has fallen some over the last month. Most bites came in 2' or less and I just kept the t-motor on high and covered water. Prob caught 20 bass easy above and below the bridge in big creek. Mister twister buzz bug in Rayburn Bug was the only color I had bites on. Chatterbait was in green pumpkin with a small swimbait trailer. Pics are of me at the weighin and then one of the big culls I had.

great job. Nice sack. I know it took me forever to bust the 20 pound mark, but then the next several came a lot faster. So you will do it again real soon.

Congratulations! Now that you've broken through the 20lb ceiling, it'll happen more frequently for you. Keep up the great work!
