Fished lake Arlington today from 7am till 2pm. Was very windy decent white caps on the main lake. I have a 15.5' flat bottom sea nymph so we ended up fishing the main creek channel on the south end. Caught a couple largemouth between 1 & 2.5lbs before and just past I20. The further south we went, the smaller the bass got. Saw decent surface activity with some scattered shad surfacing occasionally & the bass would bite our T-rigs & finesse jigs on the fall or after hopping the bait on the bottom 1 or 2 times. Hopefully the creek fishing gets better once the lake gets higher.

Update: Fished again yesterday & had a impromptu tournament with some buddies we ran into at the boat ramp that morning. They fished the dam side of the lake in their 19ft glass boat & caught a 3 pounder flipping shallow cover near the main lake points. My partner & I hit the fished the same area as we did last week due to it being very windy again this weekend. We ended up getting 5 fish between 1 & 2lbs each by 1pm throwing weighted & unweighted Texas rigs. I would have to say that we caught more legal bass this weekend than last weekend, so I would guess the bass are starting to move into the creeks & we should see some more quality fish showing up in the creeks within the next couple weeks.
