I must admit....with the cold front and over an inch of cold rain, I was very skeptical about going out on Saturday. However, I managed to catch 10....it was a dink fest....but they were biting the old donkey rigged flukes pretty good. Watermelon Red Flake

Exact same story for me, Fish2222. Caught 11 fish, biggest was 2.8. 2 on a squarebill, 5 on a wacky senko and 4 on a fluke. Only two keepers in the bunch. Fished docks mostly but caught the squarebill fish over brush piles in 8 fow.

Same on Texoma, started off the first hour and a half with a 5, 2.5(biggest 2.5 on record:)), and 3 -13"ers. Thought it was going to be one of those days, and would have been if I'd stopped at 8:30. Measured 3 more that were 13.5" to 13.75", and a bunch I didn't bother measuring. Would've been a good MLF day:). Still better than being 110 degrees and no fish. All on squarebill except one fluke. Threw everything else at them but nothing.

Ned Rig did very well from me , from the bank and boat ramps. I thought it was going to be horrible but had a great day.

Had a pretty good day today. Fun fishing just north of the canyons. Nothing over 4 lbs but several nice 3 lb chunks. Swim jig and black and blue jig and craw. Only fished 4 hours.

I caught a 3-1/2 on a frog at 10am or so, then a 5+ flipping in less than a foot of water. Then I caught a few tiny ones on a senko wacky rig. All fish were in 3ft or less.

Lol I threw a frog today too. I didn’t get a bite but I had to try. They were blowing up in very shallow water. That’s when I picked up the swim jig. Throw it almost on the bank. Most bites were on the closest piece of cover to the bank.

I threw a robo worm on a drop shot in about 3-4' of water around structure. It wasnt my first choice but after throwing the box at them i thought it couldnt hurt. I ended up anchoring in some shallow water to eat lunch and fished this stick-up for about an hour. I was being lazy and didnt want to pull the anchor which ended up being a good decision. I had my bait just sitting in the water while i took a phone call and right after hanging up the phone i gave the rod a little bump and decent bass slammed it hard. After landing that big boy i ended up fishing that spot till dark. I landed 4 more dinks and almost had another big one but spit the hook right at the boat. I didnt get a weight on the fish but he was right at 20".
