Has anyone else noted a big increase in the number of brown bass they are catching?

This fall, I will bet I have caught at least two smallies for every lmb. It has been such a strange year....heat, lake level fluctuations, etc.

Just me?

The shad spawns the last four years must have been great
SMB will thrive in an abundance of shad. They love to chase while LMB have more lazy tendencies.

Had a 3lb smallmouth destroy a buzzbait on Lake Bridgeport a few days ago. It got some serious air.

Looking out there...you could be right...but I don’t think so. Doesn’t look like Texas to me.

What are you talking about? Most people on this forum live in Texas...not Kentucky Lake

Or Grapevine I caught a 3# Smallie on GV 2 weeks ago and see tons of pics of larger ones than that caught regularly on GV.
