I have had some pretty off and on fishing the last couple of weeks. One thing I have started doing in switching my half day mornings over to afternoon or starting my full days later...my morning bite has just been pitiful. Had a morning last week where had 7 at 11am- we called it a day early and I went back out and hammered them in the afternoon in the same area. Go figure!

Today we had a double limit on a halfday afternoon trip today- I wasn't really surprised at the numbers as much as the size! We had some real hammers in the mix and only 2 throwbacks during the afternoon! Justin and Tony did great on the scope!

I am having the same pattern here on LOP and have changed my start time from 7:00 to 10:00

In my humble opinion, I think Crappie are more fun to catch after a good breakfast, and couple cups of coffee.

"the morning bite is over rated, relax and enjoy your breakfast,..They cant get out of the lake, and I know where they live",...

Hey Cameron those are outstanding. You really know how to put a smile your customers face. Your a lucky man, because I don't call that work, it's more like paradise.
