Scheduled a kids trip last Sunday for friends with kids who don’t regularly go fishing. The first group we weren’t able to make it to my regular fishing spots due to high winds so hit the cut and some spots near the cut, so we only got a handful of really small fish. For the second group, the winds were really high so we tried a few points N of El Dorado to stay sheltered, however we didn’t catch any fish. By the third group the wind had died down so we were able to hit a couple spots in the middle of the lake. The second spot was loaded with sand bass and we got ten keeper sandies in about an hour. I will take kids monthly and try to do a vet trip monthly as well. I am blessed to own a boat and live so close to good fishing!
