A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Wow, what a story.

I need to think of this story when I start complaining, after reading that story I really don’t have much of a reason to complain.

Thanks, Billy

I came across that same story today when it popped up on the google search page and it has a really powerful message.
Makes you put things into perspective in your life and what's really important.

What a fantastic story about love, devotion, faith and probably a lot of others.

RIP John and Ann. I pray that you are finally enjoying your time together.

This is why my mother did not want me to play football in school.
Out of respect for her fragile nerves. I did not.
In 8th grade we had 2 players break their legs.
In 11th grade a player broke his neck and was paralyzed for life like John.
He died about the same age as John.
Im glad I respected my mothers feelings and sat football out.

Strong story. Thanks for sharing.

Biden famously said in the New York Observer, “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
