Man that cold front was fantastic yesterday. Boated 11 bass and about 30 sand bass in 4 hours on a DFW lake. A few on wacky and drop shot, but most on a shad colored crank close to rocks. Bass weren't huge, but the 2-3 lbers were smacking the [censored] out of the crank bait. Also lake was empty of boaters when in the summer there's somebody on every point. Fall fishing is the best.

I just hope the lake we are fishing this weekend doesn't look like my pond does this morning. It's already turning over. My experience fishing during the turnover is not good.

Fished Fayette this AM. Dead fish everywhere.
