I was a little disappointed to see that my review never got posted because I was trying to be honest and helpful, but whatever.

There was a time in it's infancy TW was very selective in the products they offered and successfully built their reputation on a high quality standard which is why I purchased from them. Over the years I've noticed with TW that their marketing has shifted to where any company with a cool logo, beautiful paint job or cheap price has found it's way onto their web site.

I thought I was smarter but I can honestly say you're not alone with the same issue of the weed guard of the uoze. I bought 4 believing that it was a well spent $12.00 ea. There weren't any reviews at the time I purchased and as of today there still isn't....this makes me wonder why? I chalked it up as a learning experience, maybe I did you a disservice by not writing a review at the same time would it have changed your mind?

I have had several companies send me an email asking me to fill out a survey after buying one of their products. Most of these surveys are never filled out because they want too much information from me. Sorry, I'm lazy.

This...is...rich.

Steez, you trying to save somebody money, or just whining to try to "get even?" OP wasn't even asking for a review or input, just wanted to know if he could drop his trailer off and you go trying to make a good company look bad?

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but there is sales tax now when ordering from tackle warehouse.

I've been biting my tongue but what the......

There are services called "relationship managers" where you can poll your customers after a sale or service and if they have favorable things to say, it's immediately posted. If it's a not-so-great review, those go directly to you so that you can better train your team on how to do better, modify the product or whatever.

What you end up with is a disproportionate grouping of great results which bumps you higher on the Google scale which in turn..... you guessed it..... drives more customers to your website and the cycle repeats over and over.

It's a big money game with the global scale of the world wide web.

Yes I noticed that, ordered me a new reel the other day and got charged sales tax. I bet that wasn't their choice but mandated by law. The free shipping still makes it a better deal than others. Never had a bad experience with TW. And have a closet full of free T-Shirts
