So I just purchased a new to me Skeeter with a 2017 Yamaha SHO 225.

I previously ran a Yamaha VMAX HPDI 2 stroke and it was my protocol to add Ring Free as well as Marine Sta-Bil to every tank since I didn't have access to non-ethanol gas.

What is the recommendation for regular additives on the SHO when you don't have access to non-ethanol gas?

Noteworthy - this boat may sit for a couple weeks at a time between uses.

Thanks for any input...

Yep, manual recommends it.

I decided to go with ring free and stabil marine every fill up in my new SHO. We'll see how that works out in the coming years. They sure are proud of that ring free when it comes to pricing.

I have run ring free 5 years in my SHO with no problems and recently replaced the spark plugs after 90 hours and they still looked great.

It's all snake oil. No reason to pay for additives

If the additives actually helped. It would be cheap insurance. I prefer not to waste my money on useless products
