I love fishing the standing timber at Ray Roberts! After the floods we had In early summer it took a little while for them to set in the timber. Started catching them in August which is really late. Sept was awesome, went today and found out it's coming to an end, we did manage 25 with one at 2.33 lbs. They are starting the movement up the creeks.

Same observations...went with my SIL 09/26 and they had moved from the timber but found them on a brush pile at the mouth of a creek and they were hungry! We caught a couple from the timber but it was definitely slower.
See you on the lake and have a great day!
