left ramp a 6:30 still dark. tried main and secondary points top water to no avail, switched to crank bait and small spinner bait and started catching a few. ended up with 3 keepers, 6 small blacks and two sandies. also 1 drum about 7or 8 lbs. boy that was a tussle. off the water at 11:30. sure was a nice morning till the clouds went away and it instantly became too hot for this old man. fish don't seem to be very far back in the coves yet.

Drum, grinnel, sandbass....even an occasional catfish have excited me on a few slow days of bass fishing. Don’t know why I was always so disappointed when I saw what it was. Going to throw whatever it is back anyway! Eagle Mt will pick up after Monday!

Can anyone add to this a little? About what depth are these fish showing up? I'm just getting back into the fishing seen and I have struggled to figure much out on Eagle Mountain.

Stay shallow on main lake and don’t wear long stretches of banks or docks out if you’re not getting bit quickly there. Unless you find some brush or rock piles, keep it 5 foot or less. Now go win your tourney. Lol
If you can't find em wind em.

Thank you i-Fish.
No Tourneys for me yet. I've been out of fishing for a good 20 years. Back then I fished a lot, multiple days a week. I fished lakes like PK,Ray Roberts, Richland Chambers etc... Was never very familiar with Eagle Mountain. I live right off boat club so I'm trying to figure it out. So far it's done a better job figuring me out. lol
Going out in the morning.
