I didn't see anything terribly wrong with what he said... seems everything including some people's differences of opinion played out pretty much like it should have all the way around.

I’m in the minority here but I love Dale Hansen. He spoke at our football banquet in 1991 and I’ve been a fan of his since.

I also watched the trial as I’m retired from education and she said it was a black man in her apartment. I have no doubt had it been a white guy she wouldn’t have shot him. As someone mentioned as a whole especially white women are afraid of black men. Let’s say he thought she was breaking into his apartment and he shot her, how would this have turned out?

What I don’t agree with is the attorneys saying this is for Trayvon Martin and all the others killed by cops. Complete different situation. I know my opinion will not be accepted but it is my opinion.

If the attorneys said that, that’s really bad, because Martin wasn’t killed by a cop. It should be for Jean, though, not anyone else.

Oh yeah, they were all on channel 8 naming off everyone ever killed by a cop. And I concur it should only be about Jean. And that was my 1st thought, Zimmerman wasn’t a cop.

He said “ she had the power of God strapped on her hip”. Guess he doesn’t consider CHL holders all over the state have the same.
Then he just couldn’t miss the opportunity to play the race card just like he does on the majority of his commentaries.
He forgets where officers come from, society, and society is not always perfect even with training.

She had 30 lbs. of gear, one hand was working the keys and in milliseconds she had to process everything. He had the audacity to say she thought the guy was stealing her TV ? Where the H did he hear that in testimony.

In the trial, She never said she saw a black man. She said she saw a "silhouette".

Well of course she didn't say it. Probably the first thing her attorney instructed her not to say.

That is what public servants are trained to do. It comes with the territory. Many make that determinationevery single without incident.

Hell yes, a lot of them are. I didn't say ALL. A lot of them , YES. Especially a 110lbs chic. Its SSOOO hard to believe that it might have made a difference if he was a white dude? Im not condemning her but just stating reality and not believing this " I don't even see color" garbage.
