Justice served. I don't think either party is upset over this verdict. No one wants to see someone punished too harshly for being stupid.

I saw where there was people screaming about her only getting 10 years,but they really didn't have a dog in the fight. Just wanting to scream and raise he77.

The victims family showed tremendous character....the 10 years makes the murder conviction look like the farce that it is though.

There isnt a sentencing of any time that would have pleased everyone. I do not think life in prison would have been good enough for some of those people. They would have protested she should have got the death penalty. No matter the time she got, it was never going to be good enough for some people. They all shouted for justice, got a conviction, got a prison sentence , and they still are not happy. Kind of crazy if you ask me.

Yep, people screaming and cursing over the injustice of 10 years in front of news cameras. People on Twitter stirring the pot over it and being mad at the family/brother for forgiving/hugging her. Insane people.

AHH, slept soo good. Knowing that when I woke I would be greeted with endless white guys defending to the death a murderer and talking about how that "bad" part of town would react and then watch in horror as the verdict wasn't what they desired. Only to put the cherry on top by crying about injustice? such a solid contributor you are I said all along I could care less if she got 40 years. Just didn't feel it was murder is all.

I got a feeling that she will get 10 to 20 years? Just a guess. 10 years. Good prediction. No matter what the sentence, it was a tragic event where unfortunately a innocent man had to loose his life! Hopefully something good can be learned from this!
