I'm sure that if I walked into the wrong house, killed the guy in it for having the nerve to not show me his hands when I demanded it, then stood around without helping him after I realized I just killed some poor b@st@rd in HIS living room that the average DA wouldn't press charges. Yep, Amber got railroaded all right.

This was never about right or wrong. This was about pleasing a group of people who would have burned the town down if they didn't get what they wanted. That is why the DA changed the charge. That is why he is allowing crime to run rampant and not prosecuting certain levels of crime. There will be a different verdict upon appeal.

If the verdict was based on the fear of the city being burned down then would the city being burned down still not be a factor during the appeal?

Sometimes it's just the evidence that drives the verdict.

Sometimes it's just the politics that drive the verdict. Just look at the OJ debacle. Pretty sure politics drove that one. The burning down would not necessarily be a factor in the appeal because the initial reaction would have been dealt with the guilty verdict. Appeals usually take time and the public has moved on to other things.

I struggle with a "murder" conviction. I would be fine with CNH and 40 years for it.

I still define murder as "intent" , the situation was twisted to make "intent" fit.

I don't like the precedent set with a "murder" conviction

Disclaimer , I don't give a [censored] about her or if she rots in prison, I think she made an idiotic mistake and deserves prison time for sure.

Unfortunately this is where her career does have bearing. She was just telling the truth, it’s what officers are trained to do. Now she could have said stop the threat but they purposely framed the question in a way that didn’t offer her that answer.

Its Dallas...
They wanted statues torn down got it
they wanted black police chief got it
black d.a. office got it head d.a. voted in by black dallas
prosecutor who looks like sh!t eating fart smelling lib tard got it
the state and everyone else said man slaughter ...no black da wants murder got it
gurranty to you if it was black cop shot white person like this there wouldnt be nothing going on
black person shots, robs, kills a white person in dallas its all how he came from a broken home, balh blah blah give him some bull sh!t plea deal

now they still want more...so lets march and yell about the police association president to resighn...then what will they want...
dallas has went to the blacks and is right on track to be the next Detroit. peolple and companies are all moving out, irving and idustrail blvd look like ghost towns, fire stations with no working bay doors or water, a/c , bed bug infested living quaters, cant keep police officers, hell I know I worked in the city of dallas for along long time... so no taxes equal no city services and only will leave mostly [censored] people like you see yelling and screaming
Thing that pisses me off is when there waiving his home land flag in the court house touting American Justice....really???WTF

the one thing that really pisses me off is in the 90'S my nieghbors daughter was raped by 5 black men 17&18 she was 16 and was getting off work. Theblack side of the DA office made excuses and sided with there attorneys of how they were under priv youth and came from projects..blah blah and and they all got bs plea delas. 3 yrs later when 2 of them got out on parole they raped and killed and killed a college girl in AZ. so I guess there excuse of bieng under priv allowed them to murder now.

This is just a race pleasing dog and pony show and still shows that this country and state is still racially didvided as ever...and it wont never change
