I don't see any reason to get upset over one loss on the road especially against a good team like the Saints. They put up 33 on the Seahawks on the road. 12 at home against the Cowboys tells me our defense is not all that shabby. I doubt anyone seriously believes the Cowboys were going to go undefeated, a few doubted they would even make the playoffs. As far as Witten fumbling I think I heard Collinsworth say he's only fumbled 9 times in his career, not too bad over 16 years. That didn't cause the Cowboys to lose the game, the team lost the game. I still think it's going to be a good year for the Cowboy's and the fans.

The Pokes were getting pressure on Bridgewater, but he had a heck of a game throwing into really tight spots and his receivers were making great catches.

This defense has to be able to stop the run when it matters.The Rams and Saints showed how to beat this team.A good strong safety is a key to stopping the run game. For the life of me I can't figure out why the Cowboys won't upgrade that position.

Robert Quinn had a great game, he was on Bridgewater all night. By the way Bridgewater ain't no backup. He outplayed Dak last night.

Quinn was an animal last night and a great pickup.
Brees would have dismantled the Cowboys defense and ran up 20+ points if not more.

And the Rams got rolled by the Bucs, Brady had a 40 QB rating, the sky is falling, Zeke sucks, don't pay Dak.

zeke was not very good

He only had one play to remember and that was handoff Zeke up the middle!

Take aways from the game to me, The Saints offensive line has three pro bowlers and they couldn't stop our defense, We do have a good defense! Brees would have had just as much trouble. Just look at last year. Our offense is not as good as we thought....or the Saints defense is really good. Our line could not get a push on them..... Sean Payton is a great coach.. No panic, they are a Super bowl contending team and we played them in there house.

Cowboys are a Top 10 team but not a Super Bowl contender.

With their schedule they will need to be top ten.

Sunday was a [censored] day for both professional Texas football teams

Cowboys have the second hardest schedule in the NFL over the final 13 games. They have a 50/50 shot to lose 10 of the 13 and will likely be underdogs in at least half of them. So, they will either be a very strong team at the end or Cowboy fandom will be waving bye, bye to the Red Clapper. Last night looked like two evenly matched teams and if played at home, probably would have been a hard fought 12-10 win. Most likely going to see a bunch more like it over the next 3 months.
