Mounted mine in the rod box, Drilled a hole in forward part of box for routing wires. Not many options on my center console.

I mounted mine under the BlueWave's deck. Otherwise, you will need a transducer cable extension

Mine's in the port side front locker with the UHD box. Both screwed to a 3/4" piece of plywood.

Under the front deck worked well

Just got back from 1st trip. Didn’t stay long. Windy. Definitely could see fish. , haven’t figured out how to change view. Default is forward.

Pleased with new toy so far.

Click the transducer once backward or forward and the unit will detect an orientation change to downward view. Reverse that step to go back to forward view.
