I've written a couple of positive product reviews on Tackle Warehouse in the past, and they've always been posted, almost immediately.
A few weeks ago, I wrote a negative review for a new product--Arsenal Fishing Stealth Silicone Tubes, that I purchased from Tackle Warehouse (the silicone is thin and cheap and often on a cast, but definitely on every fish, your hook rips through the silicone, and you lose your senko--sort of the opposite of what this kind of product is designed to do).
My review met their posted guidelines--no profanity and provided a reason for not liking the product, but it was never posted.
I re-wrote the review a couple of weeks after (don't want other people to waste money on something I feel like I've wasted money on), thinking maybe I submitted incorrectly or maybe it got lost in the wide world web somehow, and the 2nd review was never posted.
You think Tackle Warehouse screens and deletes reviews that might not be favorable for them selling and moving a product? I guess it would make sense from a business perspective, but it sort of defeats the purpose of allowing reviews on products. I've purchased products, naively I guess, on TW based on reviews, but if they're screening out the negatives, I guess I shouldn't do that anymore...

I wrote a negative review for the strike king 1.5 deep and twice for the Berkley weigh in bag. Neither were posted about the bag, the 1.5 review was posted.

you never know I guess it's possible, but with the amount of money I spend at Tackle Warehouse, it's improbable...

It seems 80% of the reviews are negative. Try looking through rod and line reviews. I don't see any indication they are hiding anything.

Same here-there are plenty of negative reviews about everything from rods to soft plastics. They don't seem to have a problem with any of those.
Regardless, TW is the best site for buying fishing gear out there IMO.

So you are saying 80% are negative? Is that because people are 400% more likely to cry to the internet world when they are unhappy, vs cheer a product when they are happy?
It’s a sign of the times. “I’m trying to save someone from wasting their money”, blah blah. No! You’re whining about a transaction and trying to get “even”. Haha.
I’ll also add that less than 5% of happy customers leave a positive review. They are just that...happy. Probably 95% of unhappy customers would, or would like to, leave a negative comment.
It’s just numbers. Doesn’t mean much. At least to me.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

Haha...Steez--I think you should buy some, just to prove me wrong. If there's one person on this forum who could use these things and make one senko last a 2-day tournament, all the while taking 1st by 20+ lbs, it's probably you...you'd be the new face of Arsenal Fishing. Just messin'...kind of.
