Thought I would subscribe for a year and see how I like it, but in checking subscription pricing on line, I have found from $9.95/year - $25.00/year, the highest price from BASS...are the lower price offers legitimate? What source is recommended for the best price - I don't need any free gifts, etc.

I have subscribed a few times through a discounted way. Even got it through a kid selling magazine subscriptions for t ball I think it was. Never had an issue. You just don’t get the hat and bag that you get through BASS.

A couple of others are $15 - $17/year - didn't check the cost with BASS

They just sent me a renewal in the mail yesterday for $30 for a year. I threw it away. I'm not paying that much for a magazine.

I have taken BASS for years. I go through them. To me it is worth the $10-$12 or so dollars per year. I have had "offers to renew" from them that are unreasonable. I just don't respond and later get a better priced offer that I end up sending in. I take a Saltwater magazine that does the same thing. I may miss an issue or two but if you are off the rolls they want you back and send a lower offer.

I never bought a subscription, but I get the magazine every month. They are addressed to me.

I'm not sure how that happened. Someone must've got it for me.

same here. I had to buy a membership and subscription a few years ago to register for the Opens....been getting a new card every year and magazines ever since. They probably have my account information on file and charge me without me knowing. Lol. They are getting $9000 of my money next year, so maybe they figure I pay for it that way. Hahaha

I think it's worth it if for nothing else to look through the lunker club photo's. Did you see this kid from last month claiming this fish was 6lbs 4 ounces? I can't believe bass even published the photo!
