 Grace Period to Add Numbers to Boat

Any idea how long you have to add your numbers to your boat after purchase? Or do you have to have them on there before it can go on the water? Couldn't locate that information. Thanks.

I talked to TPWD - they said my purchase information would have a document showing it is new and can be utilized until the numbers are assigned.

They should have giving you a paper tag to show they registered boat, If need anything give us a call.

it used to be 15 days. now it is 45 days.
