Have been seeing more and more references to the lure on YouTube as of late. Roland has even put out a new video, showing him catching fish with them.
Stay tuned for Chopper 2.0, coming soon to a Bass pro near you...

( full disclosure... I bought some in the 80's, never caught anything...)

In our Bass Club its sort of a requirement to disclose the how and where we catch our fish if you win.

So I've won 7 tournaments in the last 2 years on Carolina rigged pink helicopter lures.

I bought a rod once that Roland endorsed as the best rod he has ever fished with. It was junk. I took it back and don't believe anything Roland has to say.

Pro’s are probably the last people to get truthful info from. Not because they are dishonest but because they are paid employees.

Only a guess, but why now?

Power of the TFF? No one's talked about that lure (except in jest) for years.

We had a recent thread right here on the subject. Clicks seem to be king these days.

Probably the most attention directed toward that bait and Lake Baccarac, in years.

This is the video I posted a couple weeks ago. It's a good'un.

I used to got to Canada every year. The waters up there are full of small pike that they call "hammer handles". They drive bass fishermen crazy. They hit anything. I bet you could even catch them on helicopter lures. (My ex-FIL had some but we never used them.)

Be safe,

Wrong. Because they don't really want to expose a secret that's winning money.

Case in point. Big Joe's Lake Fork Spoons.

Agree on the mundane tackle. But those guys fish baits and techniques for a long time before the average Joe, and their competitors, know anything about them.

It hasn't been that long ago.

Not too long ago...in a far away galaxy!

I have to admit, it actually looks good skimming across the top.

I remember years ago where a camera man for one of the big TV fishermen spilled the beans that they actually on occasion had to splice the film of a fish being caught so that they could change out to the lure that he was pushing and then release the fish back into the water with the new lure in his mouth so they could film him landing it with that lure. Couldn't catch a fish on it but they were being paid to endorse it. I'm trying to remember which one it was.
