Yes and No. It wasn't badly damaged, but the road out to it washed away. Two years later, the State Parks are waiting on Texas Highway Dept to fix the road, so the pier can be patched. The park and boat ramp are open, but you can't walk out on the pier and fish. If you have a kayak, you can launch at the ramp and fish under and around the pier. Some camping spots are available. I haven't been recently, but that was the situation last year. Your tax dollars at waste! IslandJim

things like that move slowly. I hunt on public land in a Federal National Forrest. 3 years ago many of the culverts were washed out from a storm. It took them 2 years to fix most of them.. some have still not been fixed.
