Wondering if y'all know if any cabins or houses for rent anywhere around the lake?
Can be around Gilmer or Longview, just in the lake area, doesn't have to be on the water

Highly recommend the Lake O Pines Rv and Marina

LOP marina

Old Camp Joy is nice and 5 minutes from a ramp.

Also a nice motel/ramp by the bridge on the north end.

^^^^^This is where I stay. Prefer cabins to the motel, but both are good.

Stayed at Camp Joy last spring. The place is nice and you can beach your boat a hundred yards from your cabin. No WIFI. We had four adults in our cabin and they charged extra ($20 a child per night) for my three small kids. I don't think they had a dishwasher in our cabin (the big one).

Bullfrog Marina

Last time we went we stayed in the Cabins at Bullfrog Marina. They were newly remodeled and very clean with a nice back porch and plenty of boat parking. The restroom in the one we stayed in had not been remodeled yet but it wasn't an issue. Way better than other places I have stayed around the lake.

There is a place there called A Motel Among the Pines. Don't stay there. It is pretty scary.
