He has been a coach for 31 years. How long does it take? Asking for an Aggie friend.

To turn around a program? It varies, but come on.

It’s taken Herman 3 years to sort of get things right. Jimbo deserves that. I always say you should give them 5 unless it’s just painfully obvious.

How stupid are you? He is in his second year at A&M. He is still playing with primarily the last coaches players...

Trolls gunna troll I guess.

I am just having fun don’t take it personally. Every Aggie post is like this as is every post about college football.

He’s a second year HC getting beat (but playing with) top 10 opponents. Well, this week at least. Clemson is gonna roll anyone IMO. Any Aggie calling for his job is being an Aggie.

They're looking at a possible 5 loss season. Still have Alabama, Georgia, and LSU on the docket. I give them credit. That is the toughest schedule I have seen in a while whether they meant for it to happen or not. The conference games they play and then add Clemson is just brutal.

I give ATM 100% credit for a brutal schedule but at the same time why in the world would any Aggie fan even utter anything about “this is the year” or anything resembling a NC run? There was 0% chance of them winning it all this year. NONE. HECK, they may barely qualify for a bowl this year! I just don’t understand.

Jimbo is better than I thought he might be. I do like the fact that he wasn't screaming at his players on TV as the Auburn coach looked to be doing. He kept a cool head. Must have been crazy hot in that stadium in the mid-afternoon. Kids and grandkids were there and offered me an extra ticket they had. No way.

What in the world will be different next year? Getting rid of Clemson? Please elaborate. I want to hear this.

Recruits dude, he'll be playing with his recruits not someone else's. I don't expect any positivity from you about the Aggies or any other football team. It's just part of your character and persona. Everyone is aware of this.

Like others have said, he has to get his type players, will take 3-5 years, I would bet that he ends up with a contender before he is done.

Thanks Happy, someone understands how these things work. I think we'll see a different team and philosophy next year and a more competitive team in one of if not the most toughest divisions in college football.
