For those who have them. , is the 9 inch screen enough, or is the 12 inch the way to go ..?
Thanks Mo

9 is fine for me but I've never used a 12 and want to keep it that way as long as possible.

I had a 9in 93sv ultra and upgraded to the 12 122 ultra. The 12 makes it easier for customers to see, but there is nothing wrong with the 9 as long as you have good eyes. The resolution is a lot better, colors are brighter and the “llag” when sweeping disappears.

Go as big as your budget allows. If you are going to want to record via ActiveCaptain you will need to go with an echoMap Ultra or a GPSMAPS This is a recording via ActiveCaptain to my cell phone from my GPSMAPS 1042xsv ...this fish hit my jig 3 times. Also mounting the Livescope transducer to a separate shaft and not the trolling motor allows you to pan the optics and point the transducer at your target for better accuracy. See Link Below... I have the Garmin ECHOMAP™ Plus 93sv. For me...the 9" works just fine. I'm sure after a year or so, I'll go with a bigger screen, but the 9" is plenty to get you in the LiveScope game

If the touch screen feature is not a big deal. Is there a significant difference between the ECHOMAP Plus 93sv and the 1042xsv. Are you getting a much larger area with the 10 inch vs 9 inch?
